New Seasons Almond Butter Recalled for Undeclared Peanuts

New Seasons Market is recalling its Creamy Almond Butter because it may contain undeclared peanuts, one of the major food allergens. Anyone who is allergic to peanuts could have a serious reaction if they eat this product. There have been no reports of illness to date in connection with the consumption of this product.

The recalled product is New Seasons Market Creamy Almond Butter in 16 ounce jars. The UPC number isĀ 4060010401 and the best by dates of the recalled product are 06/16/2017, 08/15/2017, and 08/30/2017. The almond butter was sold at New Seasons’ 19 locations in Oregon, southern Washington state, and northern California. The mislabeled jars were discovered by New Seasons staff.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to peanuts, do not eat it. Throw it away or return it to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
