Olive Oil Recalled for Trace Amounts of Pesticides

According to the FDA’s Weekly Enforcement Report for March 16, 2016, Bertolli Extra Virgin Olive oil and Carapelli Extra Virgin Olive oil are being recalled by Deoleo USA of Texas because there are trace amounts of two pesticides in the oils. There is no tolerance in the U.S. for these chemicals in olive oil.

Recall Warnings SmallerIf you purchased either of these products, do not consume them. Throw them away or return them to the place of purchase for a refund.
