Organic Rice Noodles Recalled in Canada for Wheat

Candra International is recalling Organic Rice Noodles for undeclared wheat. Anyone who is allergic to wheat or who has celiac disease could have a serious reaction if they eat this product. No reactions associated with the consumption of this product has been reported to date.

The recalled products include Candra International Organic Brown Rice Noodles, in 300 gram packages. All codes where wheat is not declared on the label are recalled. The UPC number of the recalled product is 6 942838 100177. Also recalled is Organic Black Rice Noodles, in 300 gram packages. All codes where wheat is not declared on the label are recalled. The UPC number of that product is 6 942838 100283. They were sold in Quebec and through internet sales.

If you purchased either of these products and cannot eat wheat, do not eat them. Throw them away or return them to the store where you bought them for a full refund.
