Monogram Appetizers of Wisconsin is recalling 5,000 cases of Poppers Mozzarella Cheese Sticks because it may contain undeclared egg, one of the major food allergens. Anyone who is allergic to egg could have a serious reaction if they eat this product. No illnesses have been reported to date.

The recalled product is Poppers Brand Mozzarella Cheese Sticks in a 32 ounce clear plastic package. The UPC number is 4670488920. The codes on the product are Best by 09/28/2017 KA6F08 A23:13, Best by 05/28/2017 KA6B18 A23:26, and Best by 03/28/2017 KA5M14 A16:45. It was distributed nationwide in retail stores. The product was distributed in packaging that inadvertently omitted the mention of egg.

If you purchased this product, do not eat it. Throw it away or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
