Rice Noodles Recalled for Undeclared Shrimp and Soy

Mei Shun Noodle of Chicago is recalling 6毛FIVE branded Rice Noodles for undeclared shrimp and soy, two of the major food allergens. The product may contain dried, salted shrimp and soy. Anyone allergic to those ingredients could have a serious reaction if they eat this product. No reactions have been reported to date.

The recalled Rice Noodles were only distributed in Chicago retail stores. The product is in a 12 ounce, Styrofoam package marked with the label “6毛FIVE Rice Noodles” on the top. It was distributed between 8/16/2016 and 8/17/2016. These are freshly produced noodles.

Anyone who bought this product and is allergic to seafood and/or soy should not eat it. Throw it away or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
