Santana Black Label Beef Jerky Recalled for Lack of Inspection

Santana’s Black Label Gourmet Beef Jerky of Glendale, Ariz. is recalling approximately 295 pounds of beef jerky products for lack of inspection. Consumers who have purchased these products should not eat them.

The recalled jerky has “BEST BY” dates  of May 25, 2017, June 1, 2017 or June 26, 2017 and includes:  2.8-oz. plastic bag packages of “Santana’s Black Label Beef Jerky Heaven;” 2.8-oz. plastic bag packages containing “Santana’s Black Label Beef Jerky Smokey Robinson;”  2.8-oz. plastic bag packages containing “Santana’s Black Label Beef Jerky Hatcho .357; ” 2.8-oz. plastic bag packages containing “Santana’s Black Label Beef Jerky Super Mario.”

The recalled products are marked with a  false establishment number “EST. 090115” inside the mark of inspection, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture. They were  shipped to distributors and retail locations in Arizona.
