Sebastian’s Crab Meat Recalled for Temperature Abuse

According to the FDA’s Enforcement ReportĀ for the week of April 27, 2016, Halperns’ Steak and Seafood Company of Dallas is recalling Sebastian Crab Meat for product time/temperature abuse. That means the product was probably not processed correctly and may pose a health hazard.

Recall SignageThe recalled product is 47 cans of Sebastian Super Lump Pasteurized Crab Meat, Blue Swimming Crab Meat, Wild Caught, in 16 ounce cans. This product was sold in Texas.

If you purchased this product, do not eat it, even if you plan to cook the product. Throw it away in a sealed or double bagged package so other people and animals can’t eat it, or return it to the store where you bought it for a refund.
