ShopRite Cookies Recalled for Small Metal Fragments

Country Home is voluntarily recalling Gourmet Chocolate Chunk Cookies sold at ShopRite Stores in its Fresh Bake department. The cookies may contain small pieces of metal fragments. Injuries related to the recalled product have been reported to date.

Recall

The recalled product is Gourmet Chocolate Chunk Salted Caramel Cookies, sold in 12 and 24 count containers. The cookies may also be part of the 12 and 24 count variety packages of cookies. They were sold between July 19 and August 4, 2016. They are marked as: Gourmet Chocolate Chunk Salted Caramel Cookies with UPC numbers 28978500000 and 28977600000; and Gourmet Variety Pack Cookies with UPC numbersĀ 38978600000 and UPC 28977200000.

If you purchased either of these products, do not eat them. Throw them away or return them to the place of purchase for a full refund. ShopRite is calling and email customers who belong to the ShopRite Price Plus Club to alert them to this recall.
