The Pickle Guy Company Recalls Products for Undeclared Allergens

In Canada, The Pickle Guy Company is recalling products because they contain barley, egg, fish, mustard, sulphites, and wheat that are not declared on the label. These products were sold in Ontario at the retail level. No illnesses or allergic reactions have been reported to date. You can see pictures of the recalled products at the CFIA web site.

The recalled products are Extra Bite Horseradish in 250 ml containers, recalled for egg and sulphites. The UPC number is 8 57871 00113 7. Super Salsa in 500 ml containers is recalled for mustard; the UPC number for that product is 8 57871 00126 7. Super Salsa in 750 ml containers is also recalled for mustard; the UPC number is 8 57871 00126 7.

The Pickle Guy Citrus BBQ Sauce in 355 ml containers is recalled for sulphites, fish, and barley; the UPC number is 8 57871 00105 2. GOOP Garlic Mayonnaise in 250 ml containers is recalled for egg; the UPC number for that product is 8 57871 00129 8. Asian Sauce in 355 ml containers is recalled for wheat; the UPC number is 8 57871 00108 3. And finally, Oceania Sauce in 250 ml containers is recalled for egg and sulphites; the UPC number for that product is 8 57871 00138 0.

If you purchased any of these products and are allergic to the ingredients the product is recalled for, do not eat it. Throw it away or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
