Trader Joe’s Chocolate Sticks Recalled in Canada

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency and Transilvania Trading are recalling Trader Joe’s chocolate sticks because they contain milk, one of the major food allergens, that is not declared on the label. Anyone who is allergic to milk and consumes this product could have a serious reaction. There have been allergic reactions reported. This product has been recalled in the United States as well.

Trader Joe's Chocolate Raspberry Sticks RecallThe recalled products are Trader Joe’s brand name. They are Chocolate Orange Sticks in 510 gram containers. All codes are recalled. The UPC number is 0084 7162. Also recalled are Chocolate Raspberry Sticks in 510 gram packages. All codes are recalled. The UPC number for that product is 0084 7124. These products were sold at Pirate Joe’s at 2348 West 4th Avenue in Vancouver, British Columbia.

If you purchased either of these products and are allergic to milk, do not eat them. Throw them away or return them to the place of purchase for a refund.
