Vitalicious Recalls Apple Crumb VitaTops for Undeclared Milk

Vitalicious is issuing an allergy alert for undeclared milk in select Apple Crumb VitaTops. The company is recalling them from the marketplace. People who are allergic to milk or who are lactose intolerant could have a serious reaction if they eat this product. There has been one reported illness.

VitaTops Apple Crumb RecallThese products were sold nationwide directly to consumers via online ordering only. They were not sold in stores. The product began shipping on March 21, 2016. The recalled products are VITALICIOUS Apple Crumb VitaTops packed in a clear plastic film. The package is net weight 2 ounces (55 grams) and sold frozen in cases of 12 units, 24, units, or variety packs. These are the lot codes: VitaTops APPLE CRUMB LOT 16 075 C (stamped on top of film) and VitaTops APPLE CRUMB LOT 16 078 C (stamped on top of film). An incorrect ingredient statement was included with the online orders.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to milk or are lactose intolerant, throw it away and contact the company for a refund.
