Wayne Farms Recalls RTE Chicken Breast That May be Undercooked

Wayne Farms LLC of Georgia is recalling about 4,059 pounds of ready-to-eat chicken products due to undercooking. That means bacterial pathogens may have survived in the products. There have been no confirmed reports of adverse health effects linked to the consumption of these products.

Important Notice Recall

The recalled products are 9 pound foodservice bulk cases of “Fully Cooked Grilled Chicken Breast Fillets” with case code 22121. Also recalled are 22.5 pound foodservice bulk cases of “Fully Cooked Flame Grilled Chicken Breast Fillets” with case code 22423. They have the establishment number “EST. 45411″ or P-45411” inside the USDA mark of inspection. They were produced on August 1, 2016 and August 29, 2016. The chicken was shipped to retail stores in Florida, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, and North Dakota.

If you purchased these products, do not eat them. Throw them away or take them back to the store where you bought them for a full refund.
