Whole Foods Market Recalls Korean BBQ Sauce for Allergens

Whole Foods Market is recalling Korean BBQ Sauce for undeclared peanut and coconut. The bottle actually contains Peanut Coconut Sauce and therefore includes those allergens, peanut and treenut (coconut) that are not on the label. Anyone who is allergic to those ingredients could have a serious reaction if they eat this product.

The product, Korean BBQ Sauce, was packaged in a 12 ounce glass bottle with UPC number 9948244812 and a best by date of October 19, 2017. It was sold nationally at Whole Foods stores. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with the consumption of this product.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to peanuts and/or coconuts, do not eat it. Throw it away or return it to the store where you bought it for a refund.
