Whole Foods Recalls Blue Crab Mini Cakes

Handy Seafood Incorporated is voluntarily recalling 71 cases of Blue Crab Mini Crab Cakes because they are missing the milk and fish allergen advisory on the label. They were distributed to Whole Foods stores inĀ New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maine, Connecticut, and Rhode Island between November 11, 2016 and November 23, 2016.

Anyone who is allergic to fish and/or milk could have a serious reaction if they eat this product. There have been no confirmed reports of illness or reaction linked to the consumption of this product.

Whole Foods has confirmed that fewer than 60 trays of the product have been sold to the public. The product contains milk byproducts and anchovies that are not declared on the label.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to milk and/or fish or have lactose intolerance, do not eat it. Throw it away or take it back to the store where you bought it for a full refund.
