Yummy Brand Chicken Nuggets Recalled for Foreign Material

The USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is issuing a public health alert to notify the public of a recall by Maxi Canada over 103,752 pounds of Yummy brand chicken nuggets that may be contaminated with metal pieces. The CFIA notified FSIS of the recall, which affects products that were exported to the Unvierd States. A consumer from the U.S. complained to Maxi Canada, Inc. about the problem, but there have been no confirmed reports of injury or illness associated with the recalled product.

Yummy Chicken Nuggets RecallThe recalled product is 38 ounce (2.975-pound) boxes of Yummy brand fully cooked “Chicken Breast Nuggets | 100% All Natural* | Nugget-Shaped Chicken Breast Patty Fritters with rib meat PRODUCT OF CANADA” with a BEST IF USED BY date of 07/18/17. The recalled product have the establishment number “Canada Est. 348” and UPC number 064563225782. This item was shipped to retail locations in the United States nationwide and can be found at retailers such as Kroger, Wal-Mart, and Safeway.

If you purchased this product, do not eat it. Throw it away or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
