Bulletproof 360 Recalls Collagen Protein Bars and Bites for Listeria

Bulletproof 360, Inc. of Washington is recalling five Collagen Protein Bar and Bite products because they have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes bacteria. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem.

The products were sold between April 7, 2017 and June 12, 2017 in retail stores nationally in the United States and on bulletproof.com to customers in the these countries: Australia, Bahrain, Bermuda, Bolivia, Brazil, Brunei Darussalam, Canada, Cayman Islands, China, Finland, France, Germany, Guam, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Israel, Japan, Korea, Kuwait, Liechtenstein, Macau, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Virgin Islands (USA).

The recalled products include some lot codes and best by dates of Fudge Brownie Collagen Protein Bar in 1.58 ounce packages, Fudge Brownie Collagen Protein Bite in 0.74 ounce packages, Lemon Cookie Collagen Protein Bar in 1.58 ounce packages, Vanilla Shortbread Collagen Protein Bar in 1.58 ounce packages, and Vanilla Shortbread Collagen Protein Bite in 0.74 ounce packages. You can see the UPC numbers, use by dates, and lot numbers of these recalled products, along with pictures of product labels, at the FDA site.

The symptoms of listeriosis include high fever, serious headache, muscle and neck stiffness, diarrhea, and abdominal cramps. Some people, especially pregnant women, may have flu-like symptoms. If you feel sick, see your doctor and tell him about this recall.
