Chapis Bread Crumbs Recalled for Allergens

Chapis Bread Crumbs are being recalled for undeclared wheat, milk, eggs, tree nuts, and soy, five of the major food allergens. The products do not have an ingredient label, so these allergens are undeclared. Anyone who cannot eat these products could have a serious reaction if they do consume them. No confirmed illness reports have been received to date.

The recalled products were sold locally in retail stores in Los Angeles and other cities in the same county. They include Chapis Bread Crumbs 6 ounce Pan Molido Natural 6 ounce, with UPC number 6 59440 75185 2; Chapis Bread Crumbs 12 ounce Pan Molido Natural 12 ounce, with UPC number 6 59440 86001 1; Chapis Bread Crumbs 6 ounce Pan Molido Sazonado 6 ounce with UPC number 6 59440 75370 2; and Chapis Seasoned Bread Crumbs 12 ounce Pan Molido Sazonado 12 ounce with UPC number 6 59440 86002 8.

If you purchased these products and are allergic to wheat, milk, eggs, tree nuts, and/or soy, or have celiac disease or lactose intolerance, do not eat them. Throw them away or take them back to the place of purchase for a full refund.
