Ditos Recalls Heart Platter with Strawberries for Allergens

Ditos of Alaska is recalling 50 cases of Heart Plastic Platter Strawberries with Dip and a mixed fruit platter because they contain undeclared soy and milk, two of the major food allergens. Anyone who is allergic to those ingredients or who is lactose intolerant could have a serious reaction if they eat this product. No illnesses have been reported to date.

The products were sold at seven Walmart stores in Debarr, Dimond, Eagle River, Fairbanks, Kenai, Midtown, and Wasilla of Alaska. They were sold from February 8 to February 13, 2017.

The recalled products include Heart Plastic Platter Strawberries w/ Dip with Chocolate Frosting – Refrigerated in 32 ounce containers. The UPC number is 893268001427 and the use by dates are 2/14/2017, 2/15/2017, 2/16/2017, and 2/19/2017. The other recalled product is Heart Plastic Platter Mixed Fruit w/ Dip with Chocolate Frosting – Refrigerated in 40 ounce containers. The UPC number for that product is 893268001984 and the use by dates are 2/14/2017, 2/15/2017, 2/16/2017, and 2/19/2017.

If you purchased these products and cannot eat milk and/or soy, do not eat them. Throw them away or return them to the store where you purchased them for a refund.
