Dolcetta Artisan Sweets Recalls Chocolate for Allergens

Dolcetta Artisan Sweets of Seattle, Washington is recalling some of their chocolates because they may contain undeclared soy and milk. Anyone who is allergic to soy and/or milk, or who is lactose intolerant, could have a serious reaction if they eat these products. No illnesses have been reported to date.

Sweet and Salty Almond Bar RecallThe recalled products have no UPC numbers and no codes. They include Black and Tan Bar, Dark Chocolate Coconut Bar, S’mores Bar, Sweet & Salty Almond Bar, and White Chocolate Coconut Snowman. They were distributed in Washington and Oregon through retail stores, online orders, and direct sales at markets, fairs and festivals between March 1, 2016 and March 1, 2017.

A routine FDA inspection found that products containing soy and milk were distributed in packaging that didn’t reveal their presence. If you purchased these products and cannot eat soy and/or milk, do not eat them. Throw them away or return them to the place of purchase for a refund.
