Dunkin’ Donuts Recalls Glass Tumblers for Laceration Hazard

Dunkin’ Donuts is recalling glass tumblers for laceration and burn hazards. This product can crack or break, which can result in hot liquid spilling out.

About 8,300 16 ounce glass tumblers for hot and cold beverages are recalled. They were sold in three styles. The tumblers are about 8 inches tall and 3 inches in diameter. The first has “BUT FIRST, DUNKIN” written in white font on the inside layer of glass, a clear lid and pink plastic where the lid connects with the base of the tumbler. The second style has “BUT FIRST, DUNKIN” written in white font on the inside layer of glass, a clear lid, and orange plastic where the lid connects with the base of the tumbler. The third style has a black and gray plaid pattern on the inside layer of glass, a black silicone grip with the letters “DD” embossed on it, and a black lid.

There have been 19 reports of the glass tumblers breaking or cracking, but no injuries have been reported to date. Stop using this product immediately and return it to a Dunkin’ Donuts store if you have one.

These products were imported by Moderne Glass of Pennsylvania and were manufactured in China. They were sold at Dunkin’ Donuts stores from September 2016 through November 2016 for between $13 and $15.
