King’s Pastry Tuxedo Bar Cake Recalled for Allergens

King’s Pastry in Canada is recalling its Tuxedo Bar Cake for undeclared hazelnuts, or tree nuts, one of the major food allergens. Anyone who is allergic to hazelnuts could have a serious reaction if they eat this product. One allergic reaction has been reported to date in connection with this issue.

The product was sold in New Brunswick, Ontario, and Quebec, and may have been sold nationally at the retail level. It is King’s Pastry brand Tuxedo Bar Cake in 1050 gram packages. All codes where hazelnut and/or tree nuts are not declared on the label are recalled. The UPC number of the product is 6 85961 10038 1.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to hazelnuts, do not eat it. Throw it away or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
