Meijer Recalls Caesar Salads for Undeclared Wheat

Meijer is recalling pre-made Caesar Salads after discovering they were mislabeled as Greek Salads. The mislabeled salads contain packaged croutons, which is an undeclared wheat allergen. Anyone who is allergic to wheat or who has celiac disease could have a serious reaction if they eat this product. No reactions have been reported to date.

The salads were distributed to all 230 Meijer locations throughout the Midwest U.S. The recalled salads have a sell by date of March 3, 2017. They are sold in plastic containers with printed labels that have the UPC number UPC 218234-xxxxxx. The last 6 digits of the UPC number will vary, and are determined by weight.

If you purchased this product and cannot eat wheat, do not eat it. Throw it away or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
