Perfect Fit Meals recalls Lemon Pepper Chicken for Allergens

Perfect Fit Meals of Texas is recalling about 3,546 pounds of chicken breast product because it may contain milk and wheat, two of the major food allergens. Anyone who is allergic to milk or wheat, or who is lactose intolerant or has celiac disease could have a serious reaction if they consume this product. No reactions have been reported to date.

The recalled item is 10.5 ounce sealed tray packages containing “From the Kitchen of Cooking Light Magazine: Lemon Pepper Chicken.” The “Use or Freeze By” date is 01/21/17 and the lot code is 24577442. It was produced on December 20 and December 21, 2016. The product has the establishment number “P-827” inside the USDA mark of inspection. It was shipped to military commissaries and retail establishments nationwide.

If you purchased this product and cannot eat milk or wheat, do not eat it. Throw it away or take it back to the place of purchase for a refund.
