Recall of LQNN Products for No Inspection Updated Again

The recall of LQNN products has been updated again. Those products were placed into commerce with the unapproved use of another facility's mark of inspection, which is establishment number 18995. LQNN, operating as Lee's Sandwiches, has been processing foods from federally inspected establishment and re-packaging them without inspection. No illnesses have been reported to date. The new total recalled poundage is 598,374 pounds. Recall of LQNN Poultry, Beef, and Pork Items Updated

The recall of LYNN pork, beef, and poultry products for misbranding, being produced without the benefit of inspection, and the unauthorized use of the USDA mark of inspection is being updated. More products are added to the recall list. Ham & Cheese Croissant, Cooked Dry Shredded Pork Cha Bong Thit Heo, and Shredded Pork Bi are recalled. They were produced before May 26, 2015. The new total recalled poundage is 440,923 pounds, up from the original recalled poundage of 213,192 pounds. Chicken Noodle Soup Recalled Because Ingredients Imported

The USDA is announcing that Victory Kitchens in Ontario, Canada is recalling 4,672 pounds of chicken noodle soup products that contain chicken from a country that is not eligible to export to the United States. The ingredients were sourced from Thailand, and formulated using poultry that was not produced under equivalent inspection. The recalled item is boxes of "Chicken Noodle Soup" with product code VK-HALCHX (four units per box). The products have the establishment number "I-422" inside the USDA FSIS mark of inspection on the outside box and the establishment number "Est. 711" inside the CFIA mark of inspection on the immediate container.
