In Canada, Bran Dough Recalled for Undeclared Gluten

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency and Sheung Kee Trading Company are recalling canned bran dough because the product contains undeclared gluten and wheat. Anyone with celiac disease or an allergy to wheat could have a serious reaction if they consume this product. There is no word on whether or not any reactions have been reported to date. The product is Maling brand Canned Szuhsien Bran Dough in 354 gram packages. The codes on the product are PD:01/JUN/2013 and ED:01/JUN/2016. The UPC number is 6 902131 120937. The product was sold in Ontario at the retail level. If you purchased this product and are allergic to wheat or gluten, do not eat it. Rising Moon Organics Butternut Squash Ravioli Recalled for Undeclared Allergens

Carmel Food Group of Hayward, Calif. is recalling  of Rising Moon Organics Butternut Squash Ravioli for undeclared allergens. No illnesses have been reported  in connection with this recall, but consumers with allergies to milk, egg, or soy should bot eat this product as they run the risk of severe allergic reaction if they do. The recall is prompted by a labeling mistake. Only frozen packages with SELL BY APR 09 2015 are affected. The recalled product is Rising Moon Organics Butternut Squash Ravioli, in an 8 oz size and  the UPC# 7-85030-55557-6. The product involved was distributed through retail stores nationwide. Crazy Cow Creamery Products Contain Undeclared Allergens

Crazy Cow Creamery products contain undeclared allergens, the Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA) is warning. In a consumer advisory, MDA said  dairy products sold by the company, based in  Blue Earth, Minnesota, don't have proper labels. The Ranch Cheese Curds contain soy. The Vanilla Ice Cream contains milk. And the Oreo Ice Cream contains a milk, wheat and soy. The products were sold at the creamery's on-site retail store. People with allergies or sensitivities to  to milk, wheat or soy should not consume these products as they could have a severe reaction. Trader Joe’s Caesar Salads Recalled For Undeclared Allergens

Caesar salads sold at Trader Joe's  are being recalled for undeclared wheat, soy, egg and fish. The salads, made by H Group, Inc. of Framingham, MA, were sold in the refrigerated sections of stores in DE, MD, NJ, NY, VA, PA and Washington DC under the brand name Trader Giotto's Caesar Salad with Caesar Dressing. People with allergies to those ingredients should not eat the salads as they run the risk of serious or  life-threatening reaction if they do. At the time of the recall, issued voluntarily by H Group, no illnesses had been reported. The company is recalling 509 units of the salad with SKU 05161 and the following date codes: "Sell By 04/6/14, 04/7/14 and 04/8/14." L.M. Noodle Company Recalls Butterballs for Allergens

L.M. Noodle Company of Colorado is recalling Marlyce's Butterballs because they contain wheat flour, soy flour, whey, and milk. Anyone with an allergy to wheat, soy, and/or milk could have a serious or life-threatening reaction if they eat this product. No illnesses have been reported to date. Butterballs are made of bread crumbs, cream, butter, eggs, allspice, and salt rolled into a ball and cooked in soup. They are packaged 12 to a package, frozen in a clear plastic bag with black lettering on a white label. The UPC number is 094219-21708. The recall was initiated after the undeclared allergens were discovered by an FDA inspection. The butterballs were distributed in 2 Wyoming stores, 5 Nebraska stores, and 5 stores in Colorado.
