In Canada, Hazelnut Spread Recalled for Undeclared Almonds

Frères Magid Brothers Distribution in Canada is recalling Hazella brand Chocolatey Hazelnut Spread because it contains almonds that are not declared on the label. Almonds are one of the major food allergens. Anyone with an allergy or severe sensitivity to almonds could have a serious or life-threatening reaction if they consume this product.

The recalled spread is sold in 150 gram containers. The code on the product is 13035 and the UPC number is 0 63517 01136 5. The Hazelnut Spread was sold across the country in retail stores. If you purchased this product and are allergic to almonds, do not eat it. Return it to the place of purchase for a refund.
