Canadian Beef Recall Expands Again

The recall of beef products produced by New Food Classics has been expanded again. The frozen product, Country Morning Beef Burgers, has been recalled in another size. The product may be contaminated with E. coli 0157:H7. There has been one illness associated with the consumption of this product.

The recall was expanded yesterday to include more products. This is the third recall update. If you believe you purchased one of these products, please look at the distribution areas, lot codes, and UPC numbers carefully.

  • One of the following codes:
    • 12861 EST 761
    • 22861 EST 761

    • 42861 EST 761
  • Distributed to Co-op and TGP grocery stores in these areas:
    • Alberta
    • British Columbia
    • Manitoba
    • Northwest Territories
    • Nunavut
    • Ontario
    • Saskatchewan
    • Yukon
