Chocolate Fondue Recalled for Undeclared Milk

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Chocolat Harmonie Inc. are recalling Orientale Dark Chocolate Fondue because it contains milk, one of the major food allergens, that is not listed on the label. Those with an allergy to milk could have a serious allergic reaction if they eat these products. No reactions have been reported to date.

The recalled products are both Orientale brand name. All codes where milk is not declared on the label are recalled. The first is 70% Dark Chocolate Fondue in 275 gram packages. The UPC number is 0 63134 30021 7. The second recalled product is 70% Dark Chocolate Fondue with Roasted Almonds, sold in 275 gram packages. The UPC number for that product is 0 63134 30022 4. They were sold in Quebec at the retail level.

If you purchased these products and are allergic to milk, do not eat them. Discard or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
