Orange Juice Recalled for Undeclared Milk

Lehigh Valley Dairy is voluntarily recalling orange juice under different brand names because it may contain milk, an undeclared allergen. Anyone with an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk could have a serious or life-threatening reaction if they consume this product. No complaints or allergic reactions have been reported to date.

The recalled products include the gallon size of Lehigh Valley orange juice, UPC number 7047243000; Swiss Premium with UPC number 7654500106; and Price Chopper with UPC number 4173517135. Also recalled are half-gallon sizes of Lehigh Valley orange juice with UPC number 7047249310; and Swiss Premium with UPC number 7654500132. Finally, half pint sizes of Lehigh Valley Dairy orange juice are real led, with UPC number 7047243022. All of the products have “sell by” date of March 23, 2014 and plant code 42-099.

They were sold in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Washington D.C. and West Virginia. The Price Chopper brand was distributed only on Pennsylvania. If you purchased these products and are allergic to milk, return them to the place of purchase for a refund. You can see pictures of product photos at the FDA web site.
