Central Market Salmon Jerky Recalled for Undeclared Allergens

World Wide Gourmet Foods is recalling 2,916 packages of Central Market Teriyaki Salmon Jerky because it may contain undeclared wheat and soy, two of the major food allergens. Anyone who is allergic to those two ingredients could have a serious reaction if they eat this product. No illnesses have been reported to date.

The recalled product is Central Market Teriyaki Salmon Jerky, which was mislabeled on the back side as Central Market Smoked Salmon Jerky, which omits the presence of wheat and soy on the label. It was distributed to HEB stores in Texas between 2/27/15 and 4/3/15. The produt has a purple Central Market Teriyaki Salmon Jerky front label, and a back label indicating Central Market Smoked Salmon Jerky. The UPC number isĀ 0 41220 34270 9, and the best by date is 08/25/2015.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to wheat and/or soy, do not eat it. Discard or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
