Franklin Farms Chili-Bean Veggiburgers Recalled for Undeclared Peanuts

Franklin Farms of Parsippany, NJ is recalling certain code dates of Chili-Bean Veggiburgers because they may contain an undeclared allergen, peanuts. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to peanuts should not eat these products as they run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they do.

veggieburger-recallFranklin Farms was notified by a third party supplier that one of the spice ingredients used in Chili-Bean Veggiburgers may contain undeclared peanut. The date code for retail products can be found on the side of the package sleeve. These products were distributed in the states of CT, FL, ME, MD, MA, NJ, NY, and PA and sold through both retail stores and through foodservice channels.
