Whole Foods SW Recalls Chocolate Cake for Undeclared Egg

Whole Foods Market is recalling chocolate cake for two sold in the retail stores in the Southwest Region for undeclared egg. Anyone with an allergy to egg could have a life-threatening allergic reaction if they eat this product. No allergic reactions or illnesses have been reported to date.

The product was sold as whole small cakes packaged in clear plastic containers. The UPC number isĀ 4635700000 and the best by dates are 2/3/15 to 2/18/15. The cake was sold in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas. The cake contains egg as a ingredient, but it was not declared on the label. Signage is posted at the stores.

If you purchased this product from any Whole Foods Southwest store, do not eat it. Discard or bring the receipt to the store for a full refund.
