Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Bars Recalled for Undeclared Milk

Coborn’s, Inc. has just issued a recall of its Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Bars, mislabeled as “GLUTEN FREE FUDGE BROWNIES,” according to the U.S. Food & Drug Administration. The company, headquartered in St. Cloud, Minnesota, has ascertained that the erroneous fudge brownie labels on this product do not report the presence of the milk ingredient that the chocolate chip bars actually contain.

Distributed to Coborn’s and Cash Wise stores in the states of Minnesota, North, Dakota, and South Dakota, to Coborn’s Delivers in the Twin Cities Metro area, and to Marketplace Foods stores in Wisconsin, the mislabeled products were sold between July 4, 2017 and July 6, 2017. The packages affected by the recall are stamped with the UPC code 7-33147-20522-8 and an expiration date of July 10, 2017.

People who are allergic to milk chance developing potentially life-threatening symptoms if they consume this product. They are advised to return the packages to the store for a refund or to dispose of them in the trash.Milk splashes
