Bost Distributing Company, doing business as Harold Food Company of Bear Creek, North Carolina, is recalling about 1,200 pounds of chicken salad products. The salads contain hard-cooked eggs that are recalled because they are part of a recall by Michaels Foods Inc. and may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

- 30-pound boxes of “Harold Food Co. Grand Strand Deluxe Chicken Salad”
- “Sell-by” date of 2/15/2012
- Establishment number “P-20479” inside the USDA mark of inspection
- Salads sent to a distributor in South Carolina for further distribution to retail outlets in North Carolina and South Carolina.
- May have been repackaged as sandwiches under a brand name other than Harold Food Co. In that case they would no longer have the identifying information above.
