Oregon Ice Cream Company Recalls Peanut Butter Products for Salmonella

Oregon Ice Cream Company is recalling two types of peanut butter ice cream made with products from Sunland, Inc. They may be contaminated with Salmonella bacteria. Sunland Inc. has recalled 75 products after 30 people became ill with Salmonella Bredeney food poisoning in 19 states.

Recall SignageThe products are Alden’s Organic peanut Butter ‘n Chip Ice cream in 48 ounce containers. The UPC number is 0 72609 74191 2, and the code date range is 12195-122621. Also recalled is Cascade Glacier Chocolate Peanut Butter Ice Cream in 3 gallon containers. The UPC number is 0 72609 60082 0 and code date is 12223. There have been no reported illnesses linked to the consumption of these products.
