Taylor Farms Recalls Romaine Lettuce for Possible Listeria

Taylor Farms Retail, Inc. is recalling 110 cases of taylor Farms Hearts of Romaine with an expiration date of 12-13-12 because a single random finished package test found Listeria monocytogenes bacteria. There have been no reports of illness associated with the consumption of this product.

The lettuce is sold in 10 ounce bags. The UPC number is 0 30223 04032 3, and the package code is TFRS332A09. The lettuce was sold in California and Florida. Because the product is expired, consumers may have already discarded it.
