Daesang Recalls Mixed Soy Bean Paste for Undeclared Peanuts

Daesang America Inc. of New Jersey is recalling mixed soy bean paste because it may contain undeclared peanuts, one of the major food allergens. One “minor” allergic reaction to peanut has been reported.

Recall SignageThe recalled product is Mixed Soy Bean Paste (Sesame & Garlic) in 500 grams (17.64 ounce) packages. The package is plastic, in Sage Green color, marked with SunChang Ssamjang (Sesame & Garlic Seasoned Bean Paste; 참깨마늘 양념쌈장). All expiration dates are recalled. The paste is a product of Korea. The UPC number is 880152435671 and it was distributed from June 2012 – February 2013.
