Island Delights Recalls Coconut Haystacks for Undeclared Milk

Island Delights is recalling 492 bags of its Coconut Haystack Candy for undeclared milk, one of the major food allergens. The problem was discovered during an audit from the Ohio Department of Agriculture. Anyone with an allergy to milk may have a serious reaction if they eat this candy.

You can see all of the product names, sizes, lot numbers, and UPC numbers at the FDA web site; you can also see all the product labels there. The candies recalled include Maple Coconut Haystacks, Chocolate/Almond Coconut Haystacks, Coffee Coconut Haystacks, and Almond Coconut Haystacks. There have been no reports of illness or adverse reactions associated with the consumption of these products.
