Recall of Thomas, Sara Lee, Publix, and Weight Watchers Bagels

BBU, Inc, the parent of Bimbo Bakeries companies is recalling several brand names of bagels because of possible metal fragments caused by a faulty manufacturing part. There are no reports of injury associated with the consumption of these products.

Important RecallThe recalled products include Thomas’ Bagels in 1 pound 4 ounce packages sold in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee. The varieties include Everything Bagels, Blueberry Bagels, Onion Bagels, Plain Bagels, Cinnamon Raisin Bagels, Hearty Grains 100% Whole Wheat Bagels, Cinnamon Swirl Bagels, and Honey Wheat Bagels. Also recalled are Sara Lee Deluxe Bagels in 20 ounce packages. They were sold in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Flavors include Honey Wheat, Plain, Blueberry, and Cinnamon Raisin.

The Publix Premium Bagels are in 20 ounce packages, sold in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Recalled flavors include Original Bagels, Multi-Grain Bagels, and Cinnamon Raisin Swirl Bagels. Finally, Weight Watchers 6 Original Bagels in 15 ounce packages are recalled. They were sold in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
