S&M Enterprise Recalls Fruit of Wolfberry for Sulfites

S&M Enterprise of Bayonne, NJ is recalling all lots of Fruit of Wolfberry for undeclared sulfites. The recalled products were sold in 12 oz plastic bags. Consumers who have an allergic reaction to sulfites run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.  To date, no illnesses have been reported in connection with this problem.

Warning Recall SignThe recalled products were distributed in retail stores in New York during June 2013 to August 2013. The problem was discovered during and inspection. The supplier had been unaware that sulfites needed to be declared on the packages.
