Anyone with an allergy or severe sensitivity to eggs could have a serious or life threatening reaction if they consume this product. No illnesses or allergic reactions have been reported to date in connection with the consumption of this product.
The product comes in 1 pound (454 gram) packages. The Meat Balls were distributed nationwide in retail stores and through mail order. There is no information about any product codes or UPC numbers.
The problem was discovered through routine sampling by the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets Food Inspectors and analysis by food lab personnel. If you purchased this product and are allergic to eggs, do not eat it. Return it to the place of purchase for a refund.
