Guava Drinks by Two Companies in Canada Recalled for Sulphites

Two companies and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency are recalling Star brand guava Drink because it contains sulphites, a food allergen, that is not declared on the label. There is no word on whether or not any allergic reactions have been reported.

Star Guava Drink by Dattani Foods in 1.5 liter containers is recalled. The UPC number is 6 291010 902949. It was sold in Alberta, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan. Star Guava Drink by Dattani Foods in 250 ml containers is also recalled. That UPC number is 6 291010 901126, and it was sold in Alberta, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan. Finally, Star Guava Drink by Les Aliments Nutrifresh is recalled. It was sold in 1.5 liter containers, and the UPC number is 6 291010 902949. It was distributed in Nova Scotia, Ontario, Quebec, and Saskatchewan.

If you purchased these products and are allergic to sulphites, do not consume it. Discard or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
