A variety of Ranch Market brand “toasts” are being recalled for the undeclared allergens wheat, soy and milk. Consumers who have allergies to these ingredients should not eat these products as they run the risk of a life-threatening allergic reaction if they do.
The recalled toasts, produced by Welcome Market, Inc. of Union City, Calif. include Taro Toast, Family Toast, U-Ta-Ne Toast, Raisin Toast, Green Onion Porksung Toast, Coconut Toast, Pineapple Toast, Multi-9 Grain Toast, Cheese Toast, Wheat Bran Toast, and Red Bean Toast.
The recalled products were packaged as pre-sliced loaves in clear plastic bags with “sell by” dates of 11/04/14 or prior and distributed to company- owned stores . They may be returned to the place of purchase for a full refund. Consumers who have experienced allergic reaction after consuming this product should contact their health care provider.
