Sara Lee, Kroger, Bimbo, Nature’s Harvest, Great Value and L’Oven Wheat Bread Recalled for Glass Fragments

Sara Lee, Kroger, Bimbo, Nature’s Harvest, Great Value and L’Oven brands of wheat bread are being recalled for glass fragments. Consumers who have purchased these breads should not eat them.

RecallConsumers alerted Bimbo Bakeries of Horsham, Pa. to the problem. The company said a broken light bulb at one of its bakeries may have been the source of the glass. At the time of the recall there had been no reports of injury.

The recalled products include Kroger 100% Whole Wheat Round Top Bread 16 oz, L’Oven Fresh Fit & Active Multigrain Bread 20 oz, Sara Lee 100% Whole Wheat Bread 20 oz, Sara Lee Honey Wheat Bread 20 oz, Sara Lee 100% Whole Wheat Bread 16 oz, Sara Lee Honey Wheat Bread Twinpack 2 lbs 8oz, Sara Lee Delightful Healthy Multi-Grain Bread Twinpack 2 lbs 8 oz, Sara Lee Delightful Healthy Multi-Grain Bread 20 oz, Sara Lee Delightful 100% Whole Wheat made with Real Honey Bread 20oz, Bimbo 100% Whole Wheat Bread 16oz, Nature’s Harvest Stoneground 100% Whole Wheat Bread 20oz, Nature’s Harvest Stoneground 100% Whole Wheat Bread twinpack 2 lbs 8oz, Great Value 100% Whole Wheat Roundtop Bread 16oz and Great Value 100% Whole Wheat Bread 20oz.
