Food Products Recalled in Canada for Undeclared Allergens

Many food products have been recalled in Canada for undeclared fish and/or wheat. Anyone who is allergic to those ingredients could have a serious or life-threatening infection if they eat these products. No illnesses have been reported associated with the consumption of these products.

The brand names recalled include Mannarich Food, Mannarich Food Stop, and Ocean Chinese Food Products. The recalled products include Taro Fish Ball, Cuttlefish Balls, Fried Fish Balls, Fried Shrimp Flavored Fish Balls, Thai-Veggie Ball, Singapore Fish Cake, Crispy tofu Ball, Crab Nugget, and Cheese Fishball, among many others. The products are all recalled for different combinations of wheat and egg. You can also see pictures of recalled product labels at the CFIA site.

If you purchased any of these products and are allergic to fish and/or egg, do not eat them. Throw them away or return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
