Sweetwater Squeeze Blood Orange Radler Recall in Canada

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has alerted the public to a recall by Amsterdam Brewery of its drink brand Sweetwater Squeeze Blood Orange Radler due to swelling and bursting cans, a Class 3 hazard. Consumers who have purchased this product in retail stores should either return the product to the store where they acquired it or else throw it out without consuming it.

Containers of Sweetwater Squeeze Blood Orange Radler are distributed out of New Brunswick, Ontario. The defective cans are sold both individually as well as in a Summer Entertainer variety pack. The individual 473 ml cans are marked with the product code G2216 and the UPC number 6 26824 00015 8; the 4 x 473 ml Summer Entertainer packages are labelled with the UPC number 6 26824 00020 2.
