Ukrop’s Homestyle Foods Recalls Products for Foreign Material

Ukrop’s Homestyle Foods of Virginia is recalling about 2,881 pounds of turkey, pork, and beef products that may be contaminated with foreign material. This is a secondary recall, since the product that may be contaminated, Roland® Fire Roasted Red Pepper Strips, was already recalled for possible glass fragments. There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions of injury due to the consumption of these products.

Ukrop's Meat Products RecallThe recalled products were packed on April 1 and 2, 2016, and have sell by dates of April 4 and 5, 2016. They include Roasted Turkey & Colby Jack Pinwheels in 9.25 ounce packages, Black Forest Ham & Provolone Pinwheels in 9.25 ounce packages, and Angus Roast Beef & Cheddar Pinwheels in 9.25 pound packages. Also recalled are Honey Ham & Honey Turkey Pinwheel Tray in 41 ounce trays, Honey Turkey & Havarti Pinwheel Tray in 41 ounce trays, and Honey Ham & Swiss Pinwheel Tray in 41 ounce trays. The products have the establishment numbers “EST. 19979” and “P-19979” inside the USDA mark of inspection. They were distributed to retail locations in North Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia. If you purchased any of these products, do not eat them. Throw them away or return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
