Chinese Brand Big Sausage Recalled for Undeclared Milk

America New York RI Wang Food Group is recalling about 53,973 pounds of pork sausage for misbranding and undeclared milk, which is one of the major food allergens. No allergic reactions have been reported to date in connection with this issue.

The recalled items are all Chinese Brand Big Sausage brand. They were sold in large packages distributed to institutions, and retail packages of Chinese Brand Mini Bite Size Sausage in 225 gram containers. You can see the lot codes and package dates of the recalled products at the USDA web site. These products have the establishment number “EST. M/P-40200” inside the USDA mark of inspection. They were distributed for retail sale in New Jersey and New York.

If you bought this product and are allergic to milk or are lactose intolerant, don’t eat it. Discard it, or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
