Frozen Fish Ball and Tofu Products Recalled for Undeclared Egg

Global Lamsheng Kee Inc., headquartered in Brooklyn, New York, has issued a recall of its “LAM SHENG KEE FROZEN FRIED FISH BALL,” “LAM SHENG KEE FROZEN WHITE FISH BALL,” AND “LAM SHENG KEE FROZEN FISH TOFU” products. According to the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA), these products may contain the egg allergen, not listed on the packaging.

These products were distributed in the states of Michigan, North Carolina, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Virginia. The affected lots and UPC codes are:

  • LAM SHENG KEE FROZEN FRIED FISH BALL (227g / 8 OZ); UPC code: 4712757550535
  • LAM SHENG KEE FROZEN WHITE FISH BALL (910g / 32.1 OZ); UPC code: 9555123702252
  • LAM SHENG KEE FROZEN FISH TOFU (240g / 8.5 OZ); UPC code: 4712757550542
