Futaba Sesame Hijiki Rice Seasoning Recalled for Undeclared Allergens

JFC International is recalling a rice seasoning product because it doesn’t have the English product label for sale in the U.S. And the product has undeclared wheat, soy, and fish allergens. Anyone allergic to those products could have a serious reaction if they eat this food. No reactions have been reported to date.

The recalled product isĀ Futaba Sesame Hijiki Rice Seasoning in 2.29 ounce glass bottles with a yellow label. The bar code isĀ 4 902533 023173. All lot codes are recalled. The product was sold between Nine 19, 2016 and June 19, 2017 to retail stores and foodservice operations in Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maryland, North Carolina, Nevada, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington state, and West Virginia.

If you bought this product and are allergic to wheat, soy, and/or fish, do not eat it. Throw it away or take it back to the store where you bought it for a refund.
